My favourite character (not written by me lol) is Caroline Forbes, from The Vampire Diaries.

I think she'd like my planner -less for the design, more for the effort to be Organised TM this year :P



2. Something that makes you laugh

Themyscira from detective comics comics.



It's not called Paradise Islad for nothing. And sometimes isolationism is what I crave xD

4. A fandom creator (pro or not) you'd like to meet

Not exactly fandom creator (that's all my tumblr mutuals. I hope I get to meet them), but ever since I watched "En los márgenes" I've wanted to speak with the director, Juan Diego Botto. We have much to discuss.



5. Something you find comforting

This old jacket. It belonged to my grandmother and it's still in perfect condition :D



6. Something from a favorite TV series or movie from your childhood

My favourite childhood books were His Dark Materials, so have a picture of Lyra and Pan with the Alethiometer.



7. A piece of clothing you love

My Starry Night socks :P



8. A book or song with a color in the title



I went with "The Scarlet Letter". I read it last year, and found it surprisingly engaging.

My other choice was "Under the Red Hood" BUT...

9. Something only someone in your fandom would understand



Jason's pit wasn't even green....

Right? I'm not a big sea/beaches person (I don't hate them, but I rarely seek them out in comparisons with other natural places). BUT. I would love to visit Themyscira's beaches *-*

That planner is so pretty! There's something about paper planners that makes things a little firmer when it comes to checking tasks off.

I'm also LOLing because I'm wearing those Starry Night socks right now, and I also went with The Scarlett Letter for the challenge!

I rarely buy planners because about half-way through I forget all about them... but this one was so pretty I couldn't resist. So far so good ^^U

and omg i never realized the pit wasn't green in lost days. how did i miss that detail???

I just call them that now. It is what "dc" stands for!

It's very important to me that it's a golden pit because a.) it's prettier!! Jason was healed in the pretty pool!! and b.) I'm a ~pit madness~ hater, and I've developed a pavlovian, aggresive response every time I see a line about Jason's eyes/gaze/whatever turning green.

BTW I love your icon. He looks so cheeky there xD

i have not yet hit that point but i do find myself doing the confused puppy head tilt every time it comes up, 'cause i'm just like--doesn't blaming most of what jason did on the pit completely undermine his character?? sure, someone has probably written it in a really interesting way somewhere, but that's... that's an au, friends.

It DOES undermine his character!! I find it really frustrating because some Jason fans (especially those who don't read comics, in my experience, lol) have a tendency to try to remove his agency in his choices by a.) blaming the pit and b.) BLAMING TALIA. I hate this because first of all, I find Jason immensely tragic, sympathetic, and reasonable-as-a-character exactly as he is. I understand that some people find the worst bad faith readings of him out there very frustrating and might be reacting to that, but the solution isn't to go in the opposite direction, imo. And blaming the one female character around him at the time is just level one misogyny.

A good list, all of them. Nightwing slapping Batman is a laugh, and Themyscira would be a lovely place to visit. Don't think they'll take me, though, at least not without an escort at all times, I'm sure.

Starry Night socks are great to see, as well.
