I don't have an issue with Damian in that sense (though I have other issues with *how* he was introduced, especially in regards to Talia), at least not in new earth (post reboot continuity my beloathed), because I do think that despite being introduced as ~the blood son~, the way it happened didn't validate that view of biological nuclear family over everything, you know? It might've varied from writer to writer, IDK, I haven't read all of his appearances yet, but it felt more of a case where you could argue Damian just happened to be Bruce's son through biology. Especially when they inititally paired him off with Dick as his Batman, or how he was written vis a vis Tim.
But then Jon came and that not only threw a huge wrench in the Superman lore (a lore that ALWAYS put adoption at the center), but also worsened Damian's character with that whole Supersons bullshit. And now they've introduced Diana's bio-daughter as well (I have my theories but I gave up on that run a while ago, so no idea of how they're doing that lol). So it's only getting worse. And it goes hand in hand with how conservative, normative and unambitious DC turned after the reboot, IMO.
