I've loved many fanvids, and unfortunately saved very few of them :/. But I encountered a few when I was going through my Black Sails tag to hunt for recommendations, and I decided to share those, and a few others, to close rec-cember.

And at last, a couple of Yuletide recommendations!

  • Knife, a Rope (1948) fic. 4.9k, M. It shows a bit of how Brandon and Phillip came to be... whatever they are in the film, to each other. Superb characterisation.
  • night-trap, a Carmilla (novella) fic. 7.6k, M. Years after the novella, the two women meet again. GREAT "becoming the monster" take, with very vivid prose.

Today was a very active day, fandom-wise!

First, fandomgiftbasket revealed everyone's gifts today. I ended up posting quite a few things. I'm pretty proud, ngl.
