I haven't read many comics about either character (I've barely dipped my toe into Marvel comics, in comparison with DC, and the Mera I have read about is the one from the DC Bombshells universe), but this book in particular made me want to.
I mean, these stories clearly focus on some of the worst shit that happens to the characters lol. But they also showcase an interiority in all of them that, although probably absent in the referenced misogynistic plots when written by male authors, make me curious about the characters as a whole, nonetheless.
