I read Gideon this last month and I just started my copy of Harrow. I'm very intrigued by how it's narrated; it's definitely unusual, and I'm happy it found its audience.
Agreed, tough it's difficult to maintain hope with DC lately LOL. Sure, some authors are... Not great, or have styles or tell stories I feel no interest (and sometimes active disdain) for, but more than anything else, it feels like many runs face a lot of interference from above that actively screws over potentially good storylines, and that's just disheartening.
At the very least, it'll be years before I run out of older comics I want to read xD

Date: 2025-02-24 03:08 pm (UTC)This summer the reprint all three issues (it's still in previews for less than 20 bucks) and I rushed to get it because I DEFINITELY need to see it in a physical copy... Phil Jiménez, in particular, went all out. Fingers crossed this new reprint and whatever Gunn ends up doing in his films generates enough interest for DC to greenlight the rest!
